Jamie Paris Hooper

Who I am.

I am a freelance web designer and front-end developer based in Burnley, Lancs. I've been doing this web thing for some time now and I absolutely love it. My focus is on HTML5, CSS and jQuery, as well as content-management systems, such as WordPress. My clients tend to be small businesses, start-ups, and non-profits. It's just me over here, so I like to keep things personal and have as much involvement from clients as I can. After all, they know their business far better than I ever could. If you think I might be a good fit for your next project, feel free to drop me a line..

Creative Director

The most important step in successful project completion is preparation. By communication with our clients extensively (phone, email, chat) and by asking the right questions we obtain all of the information that will be required for me to accomplish the goals

I produce a design mock up based on the information that I obtain. I test several approaches and refine the prototype through several editing stages based on your feedback. Once the prototype is approved I design the rest of the pages and go through the same process

I convert static page designs into web ready HTML5 and CSS format. Afterwards I integrate the markup into a CMS and build required functionality. We go through another round of revisions prior to moving to the final stage. Throughout this stage of process our work can be observer on the development server

I test completed website until I make sure there are no unexpected errors and everything is working accordingly. Once it is tested we transfer the website to client’s hosting and set it up. We provide free 60 days of support, that includes error fixes and edits, after the transfer.

How we work.

Explore the Issues

With the advent of online technologies, it is now easier and more cost effective to reach customers: with the use of keywords you won’t do “random”.

Using targeted marketing you don’t do “partial” marketing solutions.

  • What are your online objectives?
  • Where are your customers?
  • What technology do you need to use?
  • How much will it cost?
  • How long will it take?

Shared Objectives

What does your organisation need to achieve with an online presence?

Create clear objectives – timelines and costs to reach your aims.

A Cunning Plan

I work with you to develop a digital marketing plan that enables you to reach more of your customers, more of the time, in a more effective way.

Being creative makes you stand out from the crowd and reach your customers more effectively – this needs to be in design, imagery, website architecture and copy for it to work!

Beat the Competition

Unless you know what your competition’s strengths and weaknesses are it is impossible to position yourself to the best advantage of your customers.

Adapt and Evolve

With new technologies, new ways of reaching your target customers and competitors changing tactics you need to change to evolve what you are doing on a regular basis.
